Founded in 2019, Enlog is an innovative energy management startup based in Delhi that is addressing one of the most critical challenges of today’s world: optimizing energy consumption for businesses.
By harnessing the power of AI and IoT, Enlog offers smart, self-managed energy solutions that help companies and households reduce both their electricity costs and carbon footprints.
The company was founded by Bharath Rnkawat, who, from a young age, was fascinated by technology and how things worked. Encouraged by his father to pursue a path that would positively impact society, Bharath’s journey led him to realize that energy consumption was a growing problem. After gaining experience in the corporate world, he decided to take the leap and start Enlog as a bootstrap startup, focusing on technology-driven solutions to promote energy efficiency. Bharath was later joined by Jharna Saha, who played an integral role in building the company alongside him.
Together, they built Enlog from the ground up, creating an innovative energy management system trusted by more than 750 co-living properties and 35 sustainable hotels and offices. Since its inception, Enlog has managed over 19,000 MWh of electricity and reduced over 4,000 tons of CO2 emissions, with plans to reduce one million tons by 2027. The company’s flagship platform delivers on this vision, helping businesses reduce energy costs by an average of 23%, while simultaneously reducing their carbon footprints.
Enlog’s self-managed, AI-powered system works across industries like hospitality, commercial buildings, and co-living spaces, offering businesses a simple and efficient way to optimize their energy use. The system integrates seamlessly with existing operations, making energy optimization an effortless task. The results are not just cost savings but also a significant positive environmental impact, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable business practices.
In 2023, Ayush Gupta joined Enlog as Chief Technology Officer and was later promoted to Co-founder of the company. Ayush brought the expertise needed to scale Enlog’s infrastructure. Under his leadership, Enlog has expanded its capacity, now capable of managing up to 10 million IoT devices and handling billions of data logs, further strengthening its position as a market leader in energy management solutions.
Looking ahead, Enlog remains committed to innovation and sustainability. With a target to reduce one million tons of carbon emissions by 2027, the company is poised for continued growth, helping businesses across India achieve smarter, more sustainable energy practices.
