Ashita and Arohi Verma

In a world where most cakes are loaded with maida, sugar, preservatives, and artificial colours, two daughters and their mother decided to rewrite India’s dessert story. Ashita and Arohi Verma, along with their mother, noticed a glaring gap: desserts that looked delicious often hid unhealthy ingredients.

Determined to make a change, the trio didn’t just create “guilt-free” cakes—they developed nutritional cakes under their bakery, Sugarfree. High in protein, packed with fibre, and rich in real nutrition, these cakes are gluten-free, wholesome, and nourishing. “We don’t call it a dessert—we call it a nutritional cake,” the family explains.

Their innovative approach quickly gained recognition. In a short span, Sugarfree cakes have earned spots at Le Marche, Modern Bazaar, and other premium outlets across India.

Guided by their mother, Ashita and Arohi Verma are now at the forefront of a movement that combines health, taste, and quality. Sugarfree is proving that desserts can be indulgent and nourishing at the same time, changing the way India experiences sweets.

Today marked a beautiful milestone for Sugar-Free Cakes as we strengthened our presence across India. Starting with Delhi’s premium departmental stores—Modern Bazaar, Nature’s Basket, and Le Marche—we’re now gearing up to expand into Gurgaon and Mumbai very soon. One step closer to making healthier desserts a nationwide reality.
